UK FILM COUNCIL AUDIENCE RESEARCH

We looked at audience research data carried out by the UK Film Council to identify our target audience:

We saw that between a 20 and a 25% of people say that their favourite film genre is action or  thriller. This mean that our film is meant to be watched by a 23% of the population.
Those two genres are very popular and are consider by many people as one of their favourites.
Most of this people is expected to be male over 35 years that might be parents and of all social classes. Women over 35 might enjoy the part more related with thriller more than action.

Again, a 53-50% of the people over 16 will enjoy watching this kind of genre.

Thriller and action are consider by many people as their favourites, as it's show in the graphic over this.
20% of male over 35 say that is their favourite genre, and they belong to every social class.  30% women say that that thriller is their favourite genre, meanwhile, just a 10% of woman in this group of age say thast they like action; this changes with women below 35, that changes to 20% of women that like action movies.
